Namibian Government Delegation Feted

Pyongyang, October 21 (KCNA) -- The DPRK government arranged a reception at the Mansudae Assembly Hall Monday in honor of the Namibian government delegation on a visit to the DPRK. Present there on invitation were members of the delegation headed by Foreign Minister Marco Hausiku. Present there were Foreign Minister Pak Ui Chun, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Kim Hyong Jun and officials concerned. Pak Ui Chun in a speech said that the delegation's visit to the DPRK shows the desire and will of the Namibian government and people to boost the bilateral relations. The friendly relations between the two countries provided by President Kim Il Sung and Sam Nujoma have grown stronger under the deep care of General Secretary Kim Jong Il and President Hifikepunye Pohamba, he stressed. He wished the government and people of Namibia greater success in their work for consolidating the national independence, developing economy and achieving social progress. Marco Hausiku in a speech said that it is their duty to develop the friendly relations between Namibia and the DPRK provided by Sam Nujoma and Kim Il Sung. The bilateral relations are developing on good terms as the days go by thanks to the leaders of the two countries, he noted, expressing his resolution to make positive efforts to consolidate and boost the good friendly relations between the two countries. |
