Present there were Choe Thae Bok, secretary of the WPK Central Committee, Kim Thae Jong, vice department director of the WPK Central Committee, officials concerned from the DPRK side and members of the LPRP delegation headed by Thongloun Sisoulith, member of the Political Bureau and chairman of the Commission for External Affairs of the Central Committee of the LPRP who is vice-prime minister and foreign minister of Laos, and Chaleune Warinthrasak, Laotian ambassador to the DPRK, from the Lao side.

At the talks both sides informed each other of activities of their parties and discussed the issue of boosting the friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties and exchanged views on matters of mutual concern.
