Speakers at the event condemned the Lee Myung Bak group for escalating the suppression of forces of the pro-reunification movement under the pretext of "security," letting loose without hesitation such outbursts calling for confrontation with compatriots as "the society can not advance even one step without eliminating the pro-north leftist forces."

They declared that the Lee "government's" fascist suppression of the camp of the pro-reunification patriotic movement is little short of an open negation of the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration and a declaration of a war against the people keen to achieve reconciliation, peace and reunification on the Korean Peninsula.

They denounced the group of traitors for intensifying the crackdown upon the solidarity after labeling it "an organization benefiting the enemy, acting at the instruction of the north."

This reality requires the people to defend and implement the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration and wage an all-out struggle for bringing an era of people's sovereignty to this land, they held.

They declared that the organization would surely foil the present regime's "case of an organization of the solidarity for actions" and plots to get the above-mentioned declarations scrapped.

They called upon the people from all walks of life to vigorously turn out in the struggle against the anti-reunification Lee "government" swimming against the trend of the June 15 era of reunification.
