Pyongyang, October 25 (KCNA) -- Personages of different countries spoke highly of the exploits performed by the Workers' Party of Korea at the events held from Oct. 6 to 14 on the occasions of the 63rd founding anniversary of the WPK and the 82nd anniversary of the formation of the "Down-with-Imperialism Union."
E. Maksim, executive chairperson of the Mongolian Mt. Paektu Association for Independent Development, at a seminar said that the DPRK has registered great successes in various fields including politics, economy and culture under the Songun leadership of the WPK.
Mohammad Aslam Nagi, secretary general of the Lahore Branch of the Pakistan-Korea Friendship Association, at a seminar noted that General Secretary Kim Jong Il has developed the WPK into an invincible party and built the DPRK into a military power strong enough to defeat any imperialist aggressor forces and firmly protected the dignity of the country and the nation.
Lyudmil Kostadinov, chief of the Bulgarian Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, at a seminar said that the Korean people have defended the sovereignty of the country and are successfully building a great prosperous powerful socialist nation while smashing the U.S.-led imperialist allied forces' offensive against socialism under the leadership of the WPK. The credit for all this goes to Kim Jong Il who is held in high esteem as the top leader of the Party.
The manager of the Syrian newspaper Al Usubuu Al Riadih said at a film show that the Korean people have firmly defended the socialist system, maintaining independence under the leadership of the WPK which holds Kim Jong Il in high esteem as its general secretary, adding that their struggle is a paragon for the world progressive people.
