Pyongyang, October 25 (KCNA) -- Leading newspapers today dedicate signed articles to the 58th anniversary of the Chinese People's Volunteers' entry into the Korean front. The party and government of China sent the Chinese People's Volunteers made up of excellent sons and daughters of the Chinese people to the Korean front under the banner of " Resisting America and Aiding Korea, Safeguarding the Home and Defending the Motherland" in the very difficult and grave period for the Korean people, says Rodong Sinmun in a signed article. It goes on: After rushing to the Korean front, the fighters of the CPV waged a heroic war of resistance against the aggressors, the common enemy of the two countries, standing in the same trench with the Korean People's Army. They bravely dashed to the enemy positions braving sacrifices under a hail of its bullets and shells, mowing down aggressors and defending heights and villages of Korea at the cost of their blood. The popular heroism and feats performed by them made a great contribution to the strengthening and development of the DPRK-China friendship. The DPRK and China are close neighbors and the bilateral friendship has deep historic roots and a fine tradition. The peoples of the two countries created long ago a tradition of sharing feelings and helping each other in the common struggle against the robber-like Japanese imperialists. The Chinese people are now making positive efforts to build a harmonious socialist society based on the scientific view on development under the leadership of the Communist Party of China with Hu Jintao as its general secretary. The traditional DPRK-China friendship is favorably developing as the days go by under the deep care of the top leaders of the two countries. It is the consistent stand of the Party and government of the DPRK to develop the bilateral friendship from generation to generation. The DPRK-China relations of friendship and cooperation will grow stronger thanks to the two peoples' common efforts in the future. Minju Joson says that the immortal feats performed by the fallen fighters of the CPV will always remain shining. |
