Pyongyang, October 31 (KCNA) -- The Youth and Students Solidarity for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration in south Korea made public the statement titled "Lee Myung Bak dictatorial regime, remember the end of the 'Yusin' dictatorship" on Oct. 27.
29 years have passed since the October resistance for democracy in south Korea, the statement noted, adding that the resistance taught a lesson of history that those in power are bound to meet a miserable end if they betray the people.
Lee still seems not to fear the people, it said, and went on:
The Lee regime brought the economy to bankruptcy and is now shifting the blame for it onto the people after suppressing the candlelight actions in disregard of them. It is busy with military exercises with the U.S., trumpeting about "no nukes, opening and 3,000 dollars" towards the north where compatriots live.
It is keen on sycophancy toward the U.S. and provocations to the people. Its true colors have already been brought to light.
The youth and students in south Korea will force the Lee dictatorial regime to step down and build a new society, independent and democratic, by inheriting the spirit of the above-said resistance.
