Pyongyang, November 2 (KCNA) -- A joint seminar of organizations for the study of the Juche idea and a book and photo exhibition were held at Kyambogo University of Uganda and a film show at a company of Russia on Oct. 15 and 24 on the occasions of the 63rd founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea and the 82nd anniversary of the formation of the Down-with-Imperialism Union (DIU).
Displayed at the exhibition halls were famous works of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il, photos showing their immortal exploits and books and photos introducing successes gained by the Korean people in socialist construction under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Speakers including Baguma Isoke, chairman of the Ugandan National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, and Auma Okumu, head of the Juche Idea Study Group of the Department of Psychology of Kyambogo University of Uganda, paid respectful homage to Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il who successfully built the WPK into the model party of the world revolutionary parties.
They explained in depth about the foundation of the WPK guided by the immortal Juche idea, its historic significance and successes gained by the Korean people in the revolution and construction under the wise leadership of the WPK.
The president of a company of Russia, after watching a DPRK film, said that he became to know better about the Korean people's ardent reverence for Kim Jong Il who has further strengthened and developed the WPK into the invincible party, adding that he sincerely wishes Korean people greater successes in their efforts to build a great prosperous powerful socialist nation under the leadership of the WPK led by Kim Jong Il.
