Pyongyang, November 2 (KCNA) -- A meeting for solidarity with Korean people was held in Poland on Oct. 11 on the occasions of the 28th anniversary of the advancement of the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo (DFRK) and the 1st anniversary of the publication of the October 4 declaration at which figures of different social standings supported the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the October 4 declaration.

Speakers including the chairman of the Poland-DPRK Association highly praised the immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung who clarified the most reasonable way of achieving national reunification by setting forth the proposal for founding the DFRK and noble patriotic politics of General Secretary Kim Jong Il who brought about a turning point in the movement for the development of the inter-Korean relations and national reunification by making sure that the historic June 15 North-South Joint Declaration was published.

They said that the said declarations are the most fair and aboveboard great programmes for realizing independent and peaceful reunification of Korea in the idea of "By our nation itself," stressing that the attitude to these declarations is a touchstone distinguishing patriotism from treachery and reunification from division on the Korean Peninsula.
