Pyongyang, November 3 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, sent a congratulatory message to Mohamed Nasheed on his election as President of the Republic of Maldives on Oct. 31.

Expressing belief that the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries would continue to develop in the future, too, Kim in the message sincerely wished the president great success in his responsible work.
