Pyongyang, November 4 (KCNA) -- Amadou Toumani Toure, Malian President and head of state, warmly congratulated the Korean people on having registered great successes in all fields including politics, military affairs, economy and culture under the wise leadership of General Secretary Kim Jong Il and significantly celebrated the 63rd founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea and the 60th birthday of the DPRK, when meeting with the DPRK ambassador to Mali who paid a courtesy call on him on Oct. 28.

The President of Mali noted that the government and people of Mali would as always extend full support and solidarity to the Korean people in their just cause for peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and the independent development of the country and sincerely hoped that Korea's reunification would be achieved as early as possible in line with the spirit of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration.
