There prevails in south Korea such terror-ridden atmosphere under the pretext of "security" that the mothers joining in peaceful candlelight demonstrations with baby carriages fall victim to the firing of water cannons, women demonstrators are forced to take off their underwear after being arrested by policemen while young students are clubbed by them till they are covered all over with blood.
What is more intolerable is that the group of traitors has gone the lengths of praising the puppet police gangsters though they perpetrated indiscriminate violence against women and young students.
Owing to the brutal suppression of people perpetrated by the ruling conservative forces at the point of bayonet, talking about the "lost decade," all the achievements regarded progressive made in the efforts to democratize the society and achieve national reunification through an alliance with the north since the publication of the June 15 joint declaration are stamped out and the past fascist dictatorship raised its head to ride roughshod in south Korea.
South Korea has turned into the worst tundra of human rights and a barren land where people are suffering from destitution and absence of civil rights as elementary democratic freedom and rights are denied in the true sense of the word.
There is nothing to expect from the present ruling forces who commit all kinds of evils, staking their fate on the despicable sycophancy towards the U.S. and treacherous acts and anti-reunification acts.
