Pyongyang, November 4 (KCNA) -- The 9th national software exhibition in the field of education was opened with due ceremony at the Three-Revolution Exhibition on Nov. 4.

Presented at the exhibition are more than 700 computer programs developed by universities and colleges and middle schools from across the country.

Among them are at least 90 programs supporting the teaching of the revolutionary history of the three generals of Mt. Paektu and many other programs such as support program for computational physics experimental simulation, support system for remote-controlled education and support system for the lesson of listening to foreign languages.

Also displayed there are programs in different fields including application programs for the Korean-style computer operating system, an interpretative program for welding stress and real-time image and speech transmission programs developed and introduced by teachers and researchers in the field of education.
