Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- A national scientific and technological public presentation and exhibition in the field of Koryo medicine took place at the Grand People's Study House on Nov. 4 and 5.

Scientists, technicians and university teachers in the field attending the public presentation heard many papers, and extracted Koryo medicine, capsular substance and others were on display at the exhibition.

Introduced at the presentation were precious achievements and experience gained in raising the efficacy of Koryo medicine through an extracting process, sterilizing the pharmaceutical process and cultivating medicinal herbs.

Appreciated by the participants were successes made in establishing a new process of obtaining the extract of medicinal herbs for the manufacture of Koryo medicine, applying a new method of obtaining extract of ginkgo leaves and manufacturing medicine from it, etc.
