Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- Cabinet decisions on the regulations of public services and of the enforcement of the social security law have of late been adopted in the DPRK.
According to the decisions, these regulations are intended to meet the demands of the Workers' Party of Korea and the state in their policy for modernizing the public service networks and regularly operating them and to correctly implement the social security policy and law of the state and establish a more strict system and order in the organization and management of the public service networks and in the social security work.
The regulations expound in detail questions of principle in putting more punch into the organization and management of the public service networks, their sanitary control and property and financial management and guidance and control of the networks.
Also laid down in detail are questions of principle and methods to be observed in improving the social security work such as the recipients of social security allowances and their standards, their preferential treatment, social security procedures, disbursement of social security fund, organization and management of social security organs, production and supply by subsidiary mechanism.
With the adoption of the resolutions, a firm guarantee has been provided to meet better the growing demand of the people and convenience in their life and enable the welfare recipients to enjoy greater benefits of social security at the expense of the state by steadily consolidating and developing the social security system.
