Pyongyang, November 12 (KCNA) -- Absolutely intolerable are the Lee Myung Bak group's sycophancy toward the U.S. and its treacherous acts of blocking national reconciliation and reunification, bedeviling the north-south relations and increasing the danger of a nuclear war in violation of the basic spirit of the historic June 15 joint declaration through cooperation with outsiders, says Rodong Sinmun Wednesday in a signed article.

The Lee group which adopted it as its policy to boost cooperation with the U.S. does not hesitate to commit such crime as encroaching upon the dignity and interests of the nation, the article notes, and goes on:

Cooperation with outsiders diametrically runs counter to the principle of national independence, the spirit of the June 15 joint declaration.

It is immutable truth that it is possible to improve the north-south relations and achieve the cause of national reunification only when all the Koreans pool their efforts as required by the June 15 joint declaration while rejecting foreign aggressors.

The Lee group, however, considers cooperation with the U.S. as a basic diplomatic policy, while putting outsiders above the nation, and is busying itself to put it into practice.

Cooperation with foreign forces is a dangerous factor of scuttling the efforts for national reconciliation and unity and the development of the north-south relations.

To cooperate with the U.S. keen to invade the DPRK with antagonism against it in utter disregard of the desire of all Koreans for reunification means standing against national reconciliation, unity and reunification.

The Lee group is keen on cooperating with outsiders while negating national cooperation. The cause of national reunification which has advanced in the idea of "By our nation itself" is now facing a great obstacle and the north-south relations are in a very dangerous crisis after going beyond the phase of freeze and deterioration due to the Lee group's sycophancy toward the U.S.

Cooperation with outsiders is doing grave harm to the peace of the country and the cause of its peaceful reunification.

It is a traitorous act of inviting a war to cooperate with and kowtow to the U.S. going reckless to ignite a nuclear war despite the Korean nation's desire for the peace of the country.

There is no vouch that the cooperation with outsiders pursued by the Lee group would not lead to a war of aggression against the north under the present tense situation.

The Lee group doing harm to the interests of the nation in cooperation with outsiders is a group of traitors without parallel in the world.

National cooperation is the only way out for the nation, the way for achieving independent reunification and peace and prosperity.
