Ramon Jimenez Lopez, president of the committee, briefed its participants on the contents of the work after underscoring the significance of holding the seminar on the work.

Speakers highly praised President Kim Il Sung for setting forth the idea of building a Juche-oriented state and fully embodying it, thereby leading the DPRK along the road of victory and glory. They also spoke highly of Kim Jong Il who has converted the DPRK into a political and ideological power and a military power under the uplifted banner of Songun.
They explained and proved in detail the essence, validity and great vitality of the Songun politics, stressing that the Korean people would surely build a great prosperous powerful socialist nation and achieve national reunification under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il.
He published the historic work which successfully reviewed the 60 year-long history of the DPRK and put forward important tasks to be fulfilled to achieve its prosperity, thus enriching the treasure-house of the Juche idea, they noted.
