Noting that the anti-reunification forces at home and abroad are now getting evermore pronounced in the moves to hinder the national reunification, the article says:
The U.S. is working hard to block the realization of the Korean nation's cause of reunification while persisting in its aggressive hostile policy towards the DPRK swimming against the trend of the times.
It continues to escalate the military tension on the Korean Peninsula, remaining unchanged in antagonizing the DPRK behind the scene of dialogue. The U.S. hostile policy towards the DPRK is the root cause of escalating military confrontation and tension on the peninsula and the main factor lying in the way of the realization of the Korean nation's cause of reunification.
The Lee Myung Bak regime in south Korea is desperately going against the trend of the June 15 era of reunification after putting up anti-reunification watchwords of "no nukes, opening and 3,000 dollars" as the "policy towards the north" in active pursuance of the U.S. aggressive policy towards the DPRK.
There occur such terrible incidents in which the pro-reunification democratic forces which took the lead in advancing the June 15 era of reunification are suppressed by dint of the "National Security Law," a fascist evil law, and treachery attacks patriotism and the separatist forces crack down upon the pro-reunification forces.
The provocative Hoguk exercises recently staged in south Korea clearly showed the treacherous and anti-reunification nature of the Lee Myung Bak bellicose forces keen on doing harm to the DPRK with help of foreign forces.
The inter-Korean relations have been pushed to the worst crisis and the cause of national reunification faced grave difficulty due to the moves of the anti-reunification forces. The reality shows that the successes achieved by the Korean nation in the June 15 era of reunification will be brought to naught and the precious desire for the independent reunification and peace and prosperity can not be realized unless all sorts of challenges of the anti-reunification forces at home and abroad are frustrated.
The key to frustrating the moves of the anti-reunification forces and achieving victory in the struggle for national reunification is for all the Koreans to realize the national unity on the principle of national independence as required by the idea of "By our nation itself."
