Pyongyang, November 14 (KCNA) -- The Headquarters for Actions of the 16th-term south Korean Federation of University Student Councils released a statement on Nov. 10 assailing the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors for frantically kicking up the racket of confrontation with the DPRK.
The statement accused the Lee Myung Bak "government" of conducting a noisy smear campaign over someone's "human rights issue".
It is south Korea that should be criticized for human rights abuses, the statement held, denouncing such harsh human rights abuses of the Lee regime as blindfolding people's eyes, stopping their ears and stuffing their mouths.
Accusing the authorities of throwing those involved in progressive movements behind bars and brutally cracking down on even those citizens who turned out in the struggle against the import of American beef on charges of violation of the fascist "National Security Law", the statement queried how they can talk about human rights.
Lee Myung Bak had better stop raising a hue and cry over someone's "human rights" and pay heed to the human rights issue in south Korea, it said.
