Pyongyang, November 15 (KCNA) -- The Youth and Students Solidarity for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration in south Korea issued a statement on November 12 condemning the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors' undisguised moves for confrontation with fellow countrymen.
The statement accused the Lee "government" of becoming a main player in the lobbying operation for the UN passage of "a resolution on human rights of north Korea" aimed at doing harm to fellow countrymen co-sponsored by the U.S. and its followers.
The statement continued:
Keeping pace with this racket, the Grand National Party of south Korea is working hard to get "a law on human rights in north Korea" adopted at the "National Assembly." It is, at the same time, busying itself to set up "a foundation for the solution of the human rights in north Korea," talking about "cooperation with the international community".
Recalling that since Lee Myung Bak's seizure of power not a single day has passed without witnessing tyrannical actions against all the people and human rights abuses in south Korea, the statement noted that it is something deplorable for those who trample down upon the elementary freedom and rights of the people to dare talk about someone's "human rights issue."
Noting that the present conservative ruling forces are seeking a sinister aim through their human rights racket, the statement urged the Lee regime and the GNP keen to escalate the moves for confrontation with fellow countrymen under the pretext of making up for the "lost decade" to step down at once.
