Pyongyang, November 16 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy and the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea issued a joint statement on Nov. 7 in demand of the dissolution of the south Korea-U.S. "Combined Forces Command".

Noting that Nov. 7 this year marks the lapse of 30 years since the formation of the "command", the statement said:

The above-said "command" is no more than mechanism designed to invade the DPRK and realize the U.S. military strategy by putting the south Korean forces under the control of the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces.

It is something abnormal that there still exists such "command" in the present era of independence.

We demand the instant disbandment of the "command" and immediate withdrawal of the U.S. forces from south Korea.

We also hold that the "UN Command" in south Korea, too, should be dissolved at once according to the resolution adopted at the 30th UN General Assembly session.
