At the seminar Juan Campos Vega, chairman of the institute, underscored the significance of the seminar and gave briefings on the work.
Saying that President Kim Il Sung is the founder of the DPRK, father of socialist Korea and the eternal President of the DPRK, he stressed:
The 60 year-long history of the DPRK is the history of great struggle and great creation and change in which the Korean people have defended the independence and honor of the country, going through the tempest of revolution under the guidance of the great leader and the great party.
The DPRK is demonstrating its might as the fortress of independence and the bulwark of socialism under the great banner of Songun.
It has turned into a socialist power of Juche with invincible might as it is guided by the Juche idea founded by the President and fully embodies this idea in state building and activities under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Speakers at the seminar referred to the immortal exploits performed by the President for the strengthening and development of the DPRK and praised Kim Jong Il for further glorifying the dignity and honor of Songun Korea while frustrating the imperialists' anti-DPRK and anti-socialist moves with his Songun politics.
