Pyongyang, November 19 (KCNA) -- An exhibition of calligraphic works of Mongolia opened with due ceremony at the Pyongyang International Cultural Centre on Nov. 19 on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of President Kim Il Sung's visit to Mongolia and the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the DPRK and Mongolia.
It was attended by acting Chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries Mun Jae Chol, Vice-Chairman of the committee Jon Yong Jin who is vice-chairman of the DPRK-Mongolia Friendship Association and others, Mongolian Ambassador to the DPRK Sodovjamts Khurelbaatar, staff members of his embassy and the Mongolian friendship delegation led by D. Tsakhilgaan, president of the Federation of Peace and Friendship Organizations of Mongolia.
Present there on invitation were diplomatic envoys of different countries here.
Speakers there referred to the fact that Kim Il Sung's visit to Mongolia helped boost the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries.
They stressed that they would value the friendly relations between the two peoples and strive for their development in the future, too.
