Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- The Staffordshire, Britain, Branch of the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain and the Staffordshire Branch of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea issued a joint statement on Nov. 7 demanding the disbandment of the south Korea-U.S. "Combined Forces Command".

The statement noted that the organizations strongly demanded the immediate disbandment of the above-said command in connection with the lapse of 30 years since its fabrication.

It held that the command is a criminal tool for invading the DPRK and ensuring the U.S. imperialists' permanent military presence and domination over south Korea.

The organizations demand that the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet military halt all the ceaseless war exercises for aggression on the DPRK, the statement said, expressing full support to the Korean people's struggle for the peace and reunification of the Korean Peninsula.

It urged the U.S. imperialists to quit south Korea at once, taking their aggressor forces and lethal weapons with them.
