Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- A reception was given at the People's Palace of Culture on Nov. 20 on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the conclusion of the agreement on economic and cultural cooperation between the governments of the DPRK and the People's Republic of China.

Present there on invitation were Liu Xiaoming, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, and staff members of his embassy.

On hand were Ro Tu Chol, vice-premier of the DPRK Cabinet, Kim Hyong Jun, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, Ri Myong San, vice-minister of Foreign Trade, Han Chol, vice-minister of Culture, Jon Yong Jin, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries who is vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the DPRK-China Friendship Association, and others.

Speeches were made there.
