The separatist forces at home and abroad have become all the more desperate in their moves to block reunification of the Korean nation, while scuttling its efforts for reconciliation and unity, the article notes, and goes on:
The U.S. has persistently pursued aggressive hostile policy toward the DPRK contrary to the trend of the times, maliciously hindering the realization of the Korean nation's cause of reunification.
The Lee Myung Bak "government", keen on sycophancy toward the U.S. and confrontation with the fellow countrymen, too, is swimming against the trend of the June 15 era of reunification after adopting the treacherous and anti-reunification watchwords of "no nukes, opening and 3,000 dollars" as a "policy toward the north", zealously pursuant to the U.S. aggressive hostile policy toward the DPRK.
We can not but take a more serious note of the fact that the group of traitors undisguisedly revealed its reckless scheme to mount a preemptive attack on the DPRK while raising a hue and cry over "rapidly-changing situation", obsessed with absurd wild ambition to invade it.
To intensify the movement for national reunification is the basic way for achieving the independent reunification as early as possible by meeting the challenge of the anti-reunification forces at home and abroad and promoting national reconciliation and unity, the article stresses, and continues:
Only when all Koreans at home and abroad turn out as one with patriotic enthusiasm and fighting spirit, can they surely break through all difficulties and obstacles in the movement for national reunification.
It is the best way for putting the movement for national reunification on a new higher stage to resolutely foil all the moves of the above-mentioned separatist forces to negate and scrap the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.
The idea of "By our nation itself", the basic spirit of the above-said declarations, serves as a motto for the Koreans in their struggle for national reunification. The intensified movement for national reunification by the concerted efforts of the Koreans would render ineffective the outsiders' moves for aggression on the DPRK and the anti-reunification moves of the Lee group following them.
