Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- Talks between Choe Thae Bok, chairman of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, and Sergei Mironov, chairman of the Federation Council of Russia, were held in Moscow on Nov. 19.

Present there from the DPRK side were the chairman's party and the DPRK ambassador to Russia and from the opposite side officials concerned of the above-mentioned council.

At the talks both sides informed each other of the activities of their parliaments and exchanged views on further development of the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries and matters of mutual concern.

The talks proceeded in a friendly atmosphere.

That day Sergei Mironov hosted a reception in honor of Choe Thae Bok.
