Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- Much snow fell in the western coastal area and the northern inland area of Korea.

Generally the first snow was scanty but from last year, the snow came down in large flakes.

The snow which fell between 09:30 and 14:00 on Thursday was 11cm and 12cm respectively in Pyongyang area and in Phyongsong area.
