Pyongyang, November 23 (KCNA) -- The German Group for the Study of Songun Politics issued a bulletin on Nov. 16 on the occasion of the 91st birth anniversary of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk.

The bulletin in an article said that after joining in the armed struggle to liberate the country in her early years Kim Jong Suk energetically struggled as an outstanding military activist and underground worker and protected the safety of President Kim Il Sung at the cost of her life, firmly defending his revolutionary idea.

Kim Jong Suk was, indeed, a legendary woman general of the anti-Japanese war, the bulletin added.

Recalling that she reliably assisted the President in the cause of founding the party, the army and the state after the liberation of the country, the bulletin stressed that Kim Jong Suk will always be remembered by humankind as woman general of Mt. Paektu and mother of Korea.
