Pyongyang, November 24 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Progress of south Korea called a press conference in Seoul on November 19 at which it declared that it would start emergency actions urging the traitor Lee Myung Bak group to opt for the implementation of the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.

At the press conference the organization condemned the Lee Myung Bak "government" for driving the inter-Korean relations into an uncontrollable catastrophe by threatening the north with its hard-line policy for confrontation and demanded it clarify its will for the implementation of those declarations.

The implementation of the above-said declarations should begin with a stop to all the hostile acts against the north, not with words, it held.

To implement these declarations is the way for the prosperity of the nation, it said, calling for the vigorous struggle to achieve the independent and peaceful reunification, the cherished desire of the nation, and build a durable peace mechanism.

It declared that organizations of various circles, including youth and students, workers and women, under the Solidarity for Progress of south Korea would hold rallies and call press conferences from Nov. 19 to 28 to denounce the Lee "government's" unilateral policy for confrontation.

At the end of the press conference representatives of the organization handed over to "Chongwadae" a letter of protest demanding that the puppet authorities opt for implementing the above-mentioned declarations.
