Pyongyang, November 25 (KCNA) -- Officials and members of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea from across the country planted trees in the arboretum of the Kumsusan Memorial Palace and the Mangyongdae Revolutionary Site on Monday.
Officials of the Central Committee of the union and officials and members of the union in Pyongyang City, North and South Phyongan and North Hwanghae provinces planted with good care at least 4,800 trees of 17 species including metasequoia and peach trees and many flower bulbs in the arboretum of the palace, the supreme temple of Juche where President Kim Il Sung lies in state for perpetuity.
Meanwhile, officials and members of the union in Mundok and Suan counties planted with good care more than 1,000 trees of six good species in the Mangyongdae Revolutionary Site.
