Pyongyang, November 26 (KCNA) -- An evening event was held in Seoul on Nov. 19 in support of the Solidarity for Progress of south Korea.
Present there were personages of civic and public organizations of various strata in south Korea.
Speakers at the event denounced the Lee Myung Bak regime for intensifying the suppression of leading members of the solidarity.
Jong Tae Yon, chairperson of the policy-making committee of the solidarity, announced an action program and goal of the organization.
The chairperson stressed that the all-out struggle in December would serve as a basic fighting target for the solidarity.
Noting that Lee Myung Bak is working hard to lay a stable foundation of his power through "the current regular session of the National Assembly," Jong declared that it is a very important task to check the passage of "the evil law of Lee Myung Bak."
The solidarity will form a strong front for actions to judge the Lee regime before the NA building in solidarity with different political parties and civic and public organizations, the chairperson stated.
The chairperson announced that the organization would hold a large-scale rally on December 6, 21, 22 and 25 and stage all-people resistance in various forms and by different methods including sit-in strike.
The organization will launch a powerful struggle against the retrogressive revision of "the law on assembly and demonstration," the application of a new charge "contempt of cyber" and the retrogressive revision of "the law on the National Intelligence Service", branding them as three undemocratic evil laws, the chairperson declared.
