Standing in the van of the offensive are the three-revolution standard-bearers.
The Workers' Party of Korea initiated the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement in November 1975 in the historical period when modeling of the whole society on the Juche idea came to the fore and, through this nation-wide mass movement, consolidated the political, military and economic might of the country in every way, producing lots of the three-revolution standard-bearers.
In the last decade alone, the number of three-revolution standard-bearers increased by more than 700,000. They are playing a vanguard role in the present general offensive.
They who have grown to be ardent fighters defending the leader at the cost of their lives, the people strong in idea and faith in the course of the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement are making uninterrupted innovations and feats, surmounting manifold difficulties and trails through the vigorous three revolutions.
When a fire broke out unexpectedly near the revolutionary site, the three-revolution standard-bearers of the Taehongdan Potato Processing Factory made no scruple to plunge themselves into the flames to save the eternal revolutionary relics. Their deed showed the people what is the worthwhile life.
Those of the Ko Kyong Chan-led excavating workteam of the April 5 Pit, the Kumgol Mine under the Komdok Mining Complex, who had raised the first torch of the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement, doubled the hewing speed by introducing new excavating method and excavating frame into production and thus contributed to the increased mineral production of the country; they handed a high-grade cutting face to another workteam; and they went home from work after making working preparation for the next shift. Innumerable are such beautiful stories.
Thanks to the devoted efforts of the three-revolution standard-bearers, the production processes were put on modern basis and the management on a scientific basis in the Pyongyang 326 Electric Wire Factory, the Rakwon Machine Complex, the February 8 Jiktong Youth Coal Mine and many other units.
In cultural revolution, the three-revolution standard-bearers have done well the economic life and art circle activities and built entertainment and supply facilities in soldier spirit, with the result that they are giving a full play to the revolutionary habit of living in a cultural and emotional manner.
The Korean people will usher in a bright heyday of prosperity on the land through the more vigorous Three-revolution Red Flag Movement whose inexhaustible power and vitality have been displayed to the full in the efforts for building a great, prosperous and powerful socialist nation.
