Pyongyang, November 26 (KCNA) -- A Korean children's painting exhibition was held at the Taedonggang Club for the Diplomatic Corps on Wednesday on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the victory of the Cuban revolution.
Present there were Kil Chol Hyok, secretary of the Central Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, officials concerned and teachers and schoolchildren in Pyongyang.
Present on invitation were Jose Manuel Galego Montano, Cuban ambassador to the DPRK, and staff members of the Cuban embassy.
Speeches were made there.
Speakers noted that the DPRK-Cuba friendly relations provided by President Kim Il Sung and respected Fidel Castro Ruz are steadily developing favorably under the deep care of General Secretary Kim Jong Il and President Raul Castro Ruz.
They stressed that the exhibition would help visitors know better about the Korean children growing up happily under the warm care of Kim Jong Il and the feelings of friendship between the children of the two countries.
The participants looked round the paintings on display.
