Pyongyang, December 1 (KCNA) -- Members of civic and social organizations in south Korea, including the South Headquarters of the National Alliance for the Country's Reunification and the Solidarity for Progress, held a meeting in Seoul on Nov. 28 to denounce the anti-reunification moves of the puppet authorities refusing to implement the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration. At the meeting speakers charged that the malicious hostile policy toward fellow countrymen pursued by the Lee Myung Bak "government" and the "Grand National Party" has bedeviled the inter-Korean relations. It is treachery to totally deny the June 15 joint declaration, a landmark for reunification, they said, declaring that people from all walks of life would stage a large-scale struggle from December in denunciation of the "government's" crime committed in having bedeviled the south-north relations. At the end of the meeting the participants went on a sit-in, holding placards in their hands. On the same day, figures of organizations for the progressive movement, including the Pusan Headquarters of the South Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration, the Pusan Solidarity for Citizens' Movement and the Pusan Council of Women's Organizations, too, called a press conference in Pusan, urging the puppet authorities to repeal their hostile policy toward the DPRK. |
