Dermot Hudson, representative of the branch, made a report at the meeting.

He said he was deeply impressed to visit the DPRK in last October. He continued:

I saw for myself the successes made by the Korean people and the bright faces of children convinced me of the future of the DPRK.

Extreme individual selfishness prevails in the UK, but the spirit of collectivism is running high in the DPRK.

He highly praised General Secretary Kim Jong Il and woman general of Mt. Paektu Kim Jong Suk for their immortal revolutionary feats, noting that the branch will greet before long the 17th anniversary of his assumption of supreme commandership of the Korean People's Army and the 91st birth anniversary of the anti-Japanese war hero.

Then, the meeting discussed issues of strengthening the work of the branch and intensifying the activities for solidarity with the Korean people.

A message of greetings to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the meeting.
