He referred to the fact that Cuba has achieved successes under the uplifted banner of socialism since the victory of the revolution and the bilateral friendly and cooperative relations have developed.

He strongly demanded the closure of the prisons in the U.S. naval base in Guantanamo and the release of Cuban patriots now illegally detained in the U.S.

Then, he answered the questions raised by reporters.
