Pyongyang, December 10 (KCNA) -- Riyad Shehadeh, charge d' affaires ai of the State of Palestine here, arranged a friendship meeting at his embassy on Wednesday on the occasions of the 17th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's assumption of supreme commandership of the Korean People's Army and the 91st birth anniversary of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk.
Kim Hyong Jun, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, and officials concerned were present there on invitation.
Speakers at the meeting spoke highly of the immortal exploits of Kim Jong Il and the noble revolutionary life of Kim Jong Suk.
The participants talked to one another about the need to boost the DPRK-Palestinian relations, deepening the friendship.
