Pyongyang, December 13 (KCNA) -- Traitor Lee Myung Bak, when meeting with Nakasone, former prime minister of Japan, recently, jabbered he "sympathizes" with Japan in its efforts to seek a solution to the abduction issue and would make efforts for it and promised what he called "joint action" and "cooperation". Rodong Sinmun Saturday observes in a signed commentary in this regard: What he uttered fully discloses his treacherous intention to encourage the Japanese reactionaries in their wild ambition to use the abduction issue as a lever for tightening the sanctions against the DPRK and increasing the pressure upon it and to do harm to the DPRK in league with them. Lee's zealous involvement in the criminal moves of the Japanese reactionaries to harm and stifle Koreans bespeaks that he has become a despicable guy who is so hell-bent on acts of treachery that he is utterly indifferent to compatriots and the destiny of the nation. His demeanor is a continuation of the submissive and treacherous acts perpetrated by him during his visit to Japan. This clearly indicates that his sycophantic tendency towards Japan and nature as a traitor will never change. The recent outbursts let loose by Lee are nothing but a sort of declaration of confrontation as they are intended to unlimitedly escalate the confrontation with the DPRK in collusion with his Japanese master. His plight is so wretched that he is unable to prolong his remaining days without clinging to the coattail of such political pigmy as Japan. Therefore, his treacherous remarks are nothing but a dirge heralding his ruin. Only a stern judgment by history and people awaits Lee as he is no more than a cancer-like being betraying the nation and standing in the way of national reunification as a lackey of foreign forces. |
