They asserted that the inter-Korean relations are now inching close to collapse due to the "policy toward the north" of the present "government" which created extreme confrontation, refusing to implement the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration and pulling up someone over the "human rights issue."

They accused the authorities including Lee Myung Bak of pushing the inter-Korean relations to a more serious crisis with provocative outbursts.

Asserting that there should be a radical switchover in the above-said policy for the future of the Korean Peninsula, they demanded the authorities take urgent measures for implementing the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.
