Pyongyang, December 15 (KCNA) -- Choe Thae Bok, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, on Monday met and had a friendly talk with the friendship delegation of the Communist Party of China headed by Li Jiheng, deputy secretary of the Yunnan Provincial Committee of the CPC.
Li Jiheng said that the friendly relations between the two parties and two countries provided by revolutionaries of the elder generation are growing stronger under the deep care of Hu Jintao and General Secretary Kim Jong Il.
He noted that the party and the government of China feel thankful to the party and the government of the DPRK for extending support and encouragement to various events held in China including the 29th Olympic Games.
He expressed belief that the Korean people would register greater success in their work for developing economy and improving the standard of the people's living.
