Japanese Reactionaries' Moves for Reinvasion under Fire

Pyongyang, December 17 (KCNA) -- Some days ago former Chief of Staff of the Air Self-Defense Force Tamogami at a recent press conference talked nonsense that it is hardly understandable why the world terms only Japan an aggressor state and Japan was not an aggressor state. He was so adamant as to claim that Japan should have access to nuclear weapons on its own initiative. This guy in a lecture given later asserted it is a wrong view on history to contend that the growing muscle of the SDF would cause trouble to the neighboring countries, complaining about the fact that the SDF is not allowed to exercise "the right to collective self-defense."

Rodong Sinmun Wednesday observes in a signed commentary in this regard:

His militaristic reckless remarks are not subject to any sanctions because he speaks for the Japanese militarists' "painful" feelings and ambition.

The Japanese militaristic forces are prodding such ultra-rightists as Tamogami to kick up a hot wind of militarism in the Japanese society and thus create environment favorable for realizing their wild ambition for reinvasion.

The commentary cites facts that the Japanese militarists have systematically pushed forward the preparations to seek revenge for their past defeat with reinvasion and realize the old dream of the "Greater East Asia Co-prosperity Sphere" by launching reinvasion.

It continues:

The world is deeply concerned about the nuclear weaponization stepped up by Japan in a bid to realize the above-said ambition and closely following those moves of the Japanese reactionaries.

For Japan reinvasion precisely means self-destruction. The Japanese reactionaries would be well advised to properly know this and stop running riot.
