The paean "Song of Loyalty" and other songs of national treasure such as "Motherland, Prosper", "I'll Be the Flower to Herald the Spring", "Desire of Soldier" and "Song of Chollima Forerunner" were given new rendition as masterpieces in a few months on the occasion of the 60th birthday of the DPRK.

"Unforgettable Echo of Lagoon Samil, Firm Determination", "The Glow over Kangson" and other songs were represented anew as masterpieces of the present century, thus developing the Juche-oriented musical art onto a higher stage. They reflect the revolutionary mettle, militant spirit and noble emotion of the Korean army and people with beautiful and rich artistic delineation.

This significant year the orchestra and chorus "Snow Falls" was re-represented as a great hit to stir up the hearts of the army and people and the women's trio and mixed chorus "Motherland, Prosper" as a peculiar masterwork of vocal music ensemble to delight all people.

The musical pieces which were produced to fully meet the requirements of the age both in content and form are demonstrating the validity and vitality of the literary and art policy of the Workers' Party of Korea on developing the musical art as a revolutionary and popular art suitable for the predilection and desire of the people and the demand of the times in reality as well as in name.
