Pyongyang, December 19 (KCNA) -- A British preparatory committee for commemorating the Day of the Sun and February 16 in 2009 was inaugurated in London on Dec. 11.
Harpal Brar, chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist-Leninist), was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.
The preparatory committee decided to organize colorful political and cultural events in London and local cities of the country on the occasions of the said significant holidays next year.
