The exhibition and presentation was divided into sections of crop-seed breeding, introduction of scientific farming, crops cultivation and farming machines, land and agricultural chemistry, fruits, vegetables, industrial crops, veterinary, stock raising and sericulture.

At least 130 papers on the scientific and technological achievements gained in the agricultural field were presented and over 260 pieces of new crop strains, botanical agrochemicals and farming machines of 129 kinds exhibited.

Introduced there were varieties of paddy rice with strong resistance to unfavorable conditions, varieties of bean able to be cultivated as first or second crop, varieties of potato suited for double-cropping in western coastal areas and other new strains of crops proper to geographical characteristics and the experience gained in cultivating them.

Also attracting the participants were the establishment of the general system for predicting crop growth, the method of scientific fertilizing with the main stress on organic fertilizer according to species of crops, the scientific method to protect apple trees from harmful insects, the method of creating grass fields in mountain slopes, veterinary medicines needed to prevent cow, sheep and goat from being infected with diseases and so forth.
