Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- A Korean book, photo and handicraft exhibition was held in France and a lecture and a photo show in Guinea between Dec. 12 and 14 on the occasions of the 17th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's assumption of supreme commandership of the Korean People's Army and the 91st birth anniversary of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk.
On display in the venue of the exhibition were photos showing the undying feats of the three generals of Mt. Paektu and their personality as the great persons, books and pictures introducing Songun Korea and handicrafts associated with wisdom and talents of the Korean people.
The mayor of a city in France in his speech at the opening ceremony of the exhibition hoped that the exhibition would make great contribution to deepening the understanding between the peoples of the two countries and boosting the friendly relations.
The manager of a farm in Guinea stressed in the lecture titled "Supreme commander's military inspection" that Kim Jong Il has steadily shown warm paternal love for the servicepersons, always finding himself among them.
It is not without reason that all servicepersons of the KPA are filled with the will to remain loyal to Kim Jong Il's idea and leadership and unhesitatingly dedicate their lives for him, the speaker said.
