The magazine carried a photo of General Secretary Kim Jong Il being put on a red necktie by boys of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School.

Seen in it was an article titled "The great Comrade Kim Jong Il's idea of national independence" praising his outstanding Songun politics.

The article said that the future of the nation to be reunified and prosper depends on the Songun politics symbolic of the Korean people's sovereignty, dignity and honor and that an independent, peaceful and prosperous, reunified powerful nation would surely be built on the Korean Peninsula according to Kim Jong Il's idea of national independence.

The magazine also edited articles titled "With faith in sure victory and unshakable will" and "Great life dedicated to devotedly defending the leader" dealing with the immortal revolutionary exploits of President Kim Il Sung and anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk.

Given in the magazine was photo-illustrated news that members of organizations under the association are studying Kim Jong Il's work "The Democratic People's Republic of Korea Is a Socialist State of Juche with Invincible Might."
