Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- The anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk devotedly defended the leader with the rifle of Mt. Paektu tightly held in her hands. Her imperishable feats are throwing brilliant rays on this land. She lived and fought all her life as a lifeguard and escort, regarding it her lifelong duty to defend and guard President Kim Il Sung politically and ideologically at the cost of her life. She guarded the President at the risk of her life by mercilessly mowing down enemy troops creeping up by stealth with their eyes on the Headquarters in the battle at the entrance to Dashahe in June Juche 29 (1940). She made herself a human fortress and shield in guarding his safety at critical moments in many battles such as the Fusong County Seat battle and the Hongqihe battle during the anti-Japanese armed struggle. With a steadfast spirit of devotedly defending the leader, she staunchly defended the revolutionary idea and line of the President in any place and at any time. A typical example is that she defended the idea and authority of the President by throwing herself into a do-or-die fight against a renegade to the revolution at the Qingfeng secret camp. She dried the President's wet clothes which she had washed with the warmth of her body in biting cold around 40 degrees Celsius below zero and devoted her all for his health under difficult conditions of fierce battles with the enemy. All these facts give emotional accounts of her noble spirit of devoted defence of the leader. In the days of the building of a new country, she paid special attention to the personal safety of the President, remaining a "guard member" and reared the guardsmen into reliable guard personnel. The noble life of Kim Jong Suk who devoted her all only for the President is deeply cherished in the mind of the army and people of Korea. |
