The magazine told about the fact that Kim Jong Il has defended the sovereignty of the country and socialism, frustrating the U.S. and other imperialist reactionary forces' moves to stifle the DPRK with his original Songun politics.

It dealt with the proud course of 60 years covered by the DPRK under the wise guidance of the peerlessly great persons.

Referring to the concrete contents and validity of the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo, the magazine called on the world progressive people to extend full support to the Korean people in the struggle to achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of the country under the banner of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the October 4 declaration by means of federation.

Also carried in it were articles denouncing traitor Lee Myung Bak for his madcap pro-U.S. sycophantic and anti-reunification moves and disclosing the barbarous atrocities committed by the U.S. imperialists against the Korean people during the Korean War.
