Pyongyang, December 26 (KCNA) -- The Measure Committee for Releasing Yun Ki Jin, chairman of the South Headquarters of the National Alliance of Youth and Students for the Country's Reunification, in south Korea made public a statement on Dec. 20 denouncing the Lee Myung Bak group for its brutal suppression of pro-reunification patriotic forces.
The statement accused the Seoul High Court of taking such a tyrannical action as sentencing the above-said chairman to a heavy penalty on Dec. 19, declaring this cannot but be an act of treachery against reunification.
The Lee Myung Bak regime should clearly know that all the successive regimes that went against the will of the nation and the people met a stern punishment by history as the past history showed, it warned, demanding the Lee regime step down as it has cracked down upon the pro-reunification patriotic forces while totally negating the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.
