Pyongyang, December 26 (KCNA) -- 48 civic and public organizations including the Federation of Press Trade Unions and the Journalists Association held a press conference on December 23 disclosing the puppet group's behind-the-scene moves to put media under their control, according to MBC of south Korea.
They in their statement charged that the moves stepped up by the "Grand National Party" to enact seven evil laws aimed at putting media under their control including the "bill on the revision of the law on broadcasting" are designed to create an environment favorable for them as they found it hard to seek a long-term power by relying on the impartial broadcasting services.
They denounced the GNP for using the misinformation released by such conservative media as Chosun Ilbo, Choongang Ilbo and Dong-A Ilbo as it is allowing big businesses to own broadcasting services, obliterating fairness and truth of the broadcasting.
